First Baptist Church Gresham believes in God as Creator and the Sovereign Authority over our Universe.

We believe the Bible to be the infallible and Divinely inspired Word of God.

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God - Virgin-born, sinless, crucified, risen and returning to Earth at God’s appointed time.

We believe salvation is strictly by God’s grace.  It is God’s gift to man and is received as we express personal faith in Christ and receive Him as Lord and Saviour.

We believe baptism is by immersion and is for the sole purpose of expressing outwardly the salvation previously experienced inwardly.

We believe that the giving of tithes and offerings is scriptural and essential to Christian growth and maturity.

We believe that as a New Testament Church, we have the responsibility of sharing the gospel with every person and making them into disciples.
