Youth

FBCGYD exists to share Christ with students, help them to build values in their lives and culture relationships among students. The youth programs have been created to accomplish these goals and to provide a place for students to grow in the Lord and have fun.

Sunday School

Our Youth Sunday School begins at 9:00 am every Sunday morning. It is taught by Mr. Noah Magouirk and a rotating assistant teacher. The studies undertaken in this time are relevant to students’ lives-teaching them to apply biblical principles to daily situations. Come join our youth as they explore stories from the bible and how they can apply to our lives today.

Wednesday Night Hang Time

At 6:00 pm on Wednesday Nights, all of the youth meet for bible study upstairs in the youth room. Bro. David May leads this time of bible study and fellowship. This study is a laid-back atmosphere filled with interactive games and small group discussions to reinforce the topic introduced. This is a time when the youth can push aside pressures of their daily routine to fellowship with other teens. The youth are currently studying a series based on the movie "Soul Surfer."

Special Events

From time to time, the youth will go on special outings to various places. Some of the activities that our youth participate in include: summer camp at Pineywoods Baptist Encampment, trips to Six Flags, and outings to dinner and a movie.
