Pastor

First Baptist Church Gresham is blessed to have a pastor who not only loves God, but loves all people as well. Bro. Roy Thoene listened to God’s call and accepted the position of pastor in 1974. God has used Bro. Roy’s ministry throughout the years and continues to guide him as he leads in the church and community.

Please pray for Bro. Roy and his wife, Barbara, as they continually seek God’s will for their family, church and community.

Student Minister

In 1998, Gresham was blessed to add Bro. David May to the staff to serve as Student Minister. Since his arrival, Bro. David has devised a program that helps children and youth gain a better understanding of the bible and how to apply it to their lives.

Please pray for Bro. David and his wife, DeeAnna, as they try to reach children and youth with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Music Minister

The Celebration Choir and congregation at First Baptist Church Gresham received a blessing in 1997 when Bro. Norris Cash joined the ministry team as Music Minister. Since his arrival, Bro. Norris has built a music program that infuses gospel favorites of years passed with more recent hymns, preparing hearts and minds for worship.
